Manufactured in 1918. Blade front and flat top notch rear sights with the two-line, two block patents address on the left side of the slide, the Rampant Colt between the blocks, and "MODEL OF 1911.U.S.ARMY" ahead of the ejector port. The "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" and "(eagle head)S17" markings are present on the frame with "P" and "H" on the chamber hood. Fitted with a long smooth trigger, wide checkered hammer, long grip safety, checkered slide stop and thumb safety, smooth mainspring housing, two-tone pinned-base magazine and a pair of checkered walnut grips.

Very fine as professionally refurbished, with 98% of the high quality blue. Grips are near mint, with a few light stains on the crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
