Manufactured in 1911. Fixed sights, with the standard Colt address, caliber and patent markings on the barrel and the "C" backed Rampant Colt trademark on the left side of the frame. The underside of the barrel has the "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" and "R.A.C." (Rinaldo Carr) stamps, "F.B." and "R.A.C." on the right side of the frame, "R.A.C." on the rear cylinder face and "U.S./ARMY/MODEL/1909/No/35/382" on the butt around the lanyard swivel. The trigger and the top and back of the hammer are finished in a fine nitre blue, and a set of smooth Carr-inspected grips are installed.

Excellent, retains 90% plus bright original high polish blue finish and 70% of the original nitre blue with the balance some scattered patches of grey-brown patina and some scattered minor scratches. The grips are very fine with some scattered minor dings and scratches, and a minor chip near the top of the left panel. Mechanically excellent.
