Description:

Manufactured in 1955 and subsequently engraved with near full coverage broad floral scroll engraving on a punchdot background. The cylinder flutes and top strap are engraved with line designs. Matching serial numbers on the barrel and butt. Includes a non-matching factory Gold Box. The accompanying factory letter lists this revolver with a 5 inch barrel and blue finish when shipped on March 17, 1955 and delivered to Sloans Sporting Goods Co. of New York City.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as professionally embellished, showing 95% reapplied blue, slight plum patina to the cylinder, and some areas of browning. The grips are also very fine with light age cracking on the butts and a slight gap at the top of the left. The box is very fine with some light wear. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: Dr. Gerald Klaz collection.
