This beautiful consecutively serial numbered, matching pair of Colt Frontier Six Shooter revolvers feature gold plated grip frame and nickel finish on the remaining surfaces. They are nicely Class "B" engraved with floral scroll and punch dot background on the barrel, outer edge of the ejector housing, frame, cylinder flats and rear, trigger guard bow and back strap. The top of the barrel is marked with the one line address, "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" on the left side and the three line patent marking on the left side of the frame. The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame, the grip straps under the grip and on the inside of the grip panels. Black powder frame, "bulls-eye" ejector rod head, blade front and frame notch rear sights and fitted with smooth two piece grips with gold Colt medallions. The left grip panel is black filled carved "God Created / Man" and the right panel "Col. Colt/ Made/ Them Equal". Complete in an American walnut presentation case with Custom Shop medallion on the lid and royal blue French fitted velvet lining. Each gun also comes with an extra 44S cylinder with matching engraving, numbered to the gun, original Colt "wood grain" box with Custom Shop label numbered to the gun and manuals. The end labels on the Colt boxes are marked "w/case" and "1 of 2" and "2 of 2".

Near new, with only the slightest handling/storage marks overall and very faint traces of a drag line on the cylinder. The boxes are good and the case is excellent.

Described in "A" with the exception of having the hanging tag and the left grip panel is black filled carved "Fear No/ Man For/ His Size" and the right panel "Call On Me / And I'll / Equalize".
