This revolver was part of a limited run of 25 and features the desirable black powder frame, etched panel on the left of the barrel, nitre blue small parts as well as more than 75% coverage American style floral scroll engraving, masterfully executed by Master Engraver John Adams Sr. The work is signed "ADAMS" on the bottom of the barrel. It is fitted with a pair of smooth grips with Colt medallions that are hand numbered to the gun, noted by the consignor as made by Dan Chesiak. Includes the original shipping box (revolver originally listed as blue/casehardened finish) and Colt blue box.

Excellent overall as masterfully embellished by John Adams Sr., retaining 99% of the nitre blue finish and the remainder polished bright with very little handling evidence and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent. The boxes are excellent with some light wear.
