Description:

The overall length is 13 15/16 inches with a 8 14/16 inch clip point blade that is marked "W. TENNANT" on the left ricasso. The handle is made of the full tang, a wide rounded diamond shamed guard of German silver, and horn grip scales with spiraling grooves. The sheath is made of dark brown leather with German silver fittings and "R.N.I.D." hand scratched on the throat.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, the blade showing mostly a bright finish, a minor notch in the edge, and some evidence of light cleaning. The handle is also very good with the German silver showing an attractive antique patina, some scattered light handling marks on the scales and well-defined grooves. The sheath is also very fine with some mild wear overall.
