Manufactured in 1904 with standard two-line address/patent marking, two-line nickel steel marking, and "25-35 W.C.F." on the special order, rapid taper, lightweight barrel. The barrel, takedown collar, and receiver also have standard British proofs on the left near the breech, including "NOT ENGLISH MAKE" stamps. Three-line model/trademark marking on the upper tang and serial number on the bottom of the receiver. The left side of the lower tang is marked "19952 XX CF R" and "19952" is repeated in the stock mortise along with "94". Fitted with a ramped, dovetailed, Lyman blade front (blade mostly broken off) and three-leaf express rear sights. Mounted with a finely figured, H-style checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap and special order shotgun buttplate. The included factory letter lists the rifle in .25-35 caliber with a round barrel, plain trigger, checkered pistol grip stock with oil finish, Lyman front and rear sights (target sent), half magazine, rubber shotgun butt, takedown, and extra light when received at the warehouse on 11 February 1905 and shipped on 13 February 1905.

Exceptionally fine, retains 85% plus original blue finish on the receiver, 70% period refinished blue on the barrel 60% slightly age darkened case colors, and 75% original nitre blue on the loading gate with the balance a brown or grey patina. The wood is very fine with some minor dings and scratches scattered throughout, a few minor blemishes in the overall crisp checkering, and retaining most of the varnish. Mechanically excellent.
