The included factory letter confirms the gauge and barrel length as well as receipt at the warehouse on 19 May 1898, shipment on 2 September 1898, and return for repair on 8 September 1898. Includes a Winchester Repeating Arms stamped shipping crate marked for C.Q. Morgan Esq., that was shipped by Adams Express, an Adams Express marked leather belt with brass shotgun shell loops, and a full, unopened, box of Winchester 12 gauge brass shot shells.
