Description:

This print of a photograph by legendary Montana photographer Laton Alton Huffman (1854-1931) is marked "XIT ROUNDUP ON THE MOVE 4:30 A.M. 1898" and "© LA Huffman." (It is a later Jack Coffrin print.) It shows a cowboy leading a couple of wagons and a herd of horses under a cloudy sky with rolling hills in the background. The print measures approximately 7 5/8 by 13 3/8 inches and is matted and mounted in a 15 by 20 3/4 inch frame. Provenance: The John Fox Collection

Rating Definition:

Very good with distinct image, strong ink, and mild wear on the frame. The glass is cracked in the bottom left corner.
