Manufactured in 1928. Fixed sights, with "38 COLT" on the left side of the barrel, two-line Hartford address on top, and the two-line, three-date patents next to the uncircled Rampant Colt on the frame. "08" on the rear cylinder face. Matching assembly number "838" on the loading gate and hidden on the back right side of the frame. Right side of the grip frame numbers matching. Fine, retaining 40% original case colors on the frame with some mild scattered spotting, 50% original blue finish on barrel, cylinder and grip frame with some mild flaking and edge wear, and mild cylinder drag line. Modified refinished front sight. Grips are also fine with some dings and dents. Mechanically excellent.
