Description:

Manufactured in 1901 in .45 Long Colt, nickel finish, with standard markings and features including matching numbers on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap, and "(BISLEY MODEL)" on the left of the barrel. The included factory letter confirms the current configuration (grips not listed) including the desirable nickel finish, as well as shipment to M. Hartley & Co. in New York on 14 June 1901.

Rating Definition:

Fine, retains 40% plus untouched original nickel finish with the balance a smooth brown grey patina. The grips are very good with a chip absent from the bottom of the right panel, some light handling marks, and mostly well-defined checkering. Mechanically fine.
