Marked "PEDRO GUISASOLA EIBAR 1855" in gold on the top flat, with gold border and scroll decoration. Lock, hammer, tang and reverse plate are casehardened, with exposed sear and spring and a 4 1/2" belt hook on the reverse. Checkered grip, with ramrod, casehardened pipe, engraved trigger guard and steel buttcap.

Very fine, with most of the refinished brown finish on the barrel and bright color on the casehardened parts. Stock is very good, with a mended crack and missing a large piece at the tip, loose pipe, and scattered dings and dents overall. Mechanically excellent.
