Manufactured between 1908 and 1910. Blued, Westley Richards steel barrels with a single steel bead sight on the matted solid rib, WESTLEY RICHARDS & Co" and "LONDON" on the right and left barrels respectively, chambers measured at 2 1/2 inches with ejectors, Birmingham proofs on the flats, and two small wedges of engraving at the breech of each barrel. The casehardened action is built with sideclips and displays near full coverage floral scroll engraving, a floret on the Greener cross bolt, blued underside, and "WESTLEY RICHARDS & Co." banners on either side. Single selective trigger and tang mounted automatic safety switch. Beautifully figured, fancy checkered forearm with engraved fittings, Deeley latch release, and ebony tip insert and round knob pistol grip stock with teardrop carved and checkered flats, blank inscription oval, and orange rubber recoil pad. Includes a green canvas takedown case with Westley Richards trade label on the lid, nickel snap cap, nickel oiler, and cleaning tools. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameters 9 inches from the breech marked "20" (.615 inches) and measured .627/.627 inches; choke constriction .020/.027 inches; minimum wall thickness .020/.020 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 3/4 inch drop at heel; 14 3/8 inch length of pull; weight 5 lbs 9 oz.

Very fine as professionally restored, retaining 99% blue on the barrels with strong traces on the trigger guard and underside of the action. The case colors on the action have mostly turned a silver patina but are still visible on the watertable. The wood is very good with a few chips on the edges and some repairs and chipping on the forearm and well-defined carving and checkering. The case and accessories are excellent. Mechanically excellent.
