This musket was manufactured in the early 19th century. The lock has the standard "TOWER" and Georgian cipher markings. The stock has two "X" marks on the left side of the butt, and the buttplate has "24/7" at the heel.

Very good with a mixed dark brown patina visible on the barrel and lock, white paint on the muzzle, moderate oxidation mainly at the pan and vent which is clogged, aged patina on the brass furniture. The stock is also very good and has mild scrapes and dings, some slivers absent and flash wear above the lock, minor hairline cracks, and smooth finish. Mechanically fine.
