Manufactured from 1925 to 1936. Pristine 1st production two-digit serial number straight line with Patridge blade front and adjustable square notch rear sights, with the one-line address on the rib, "SMITH & WESSON" on the left side, and the caliber marking on the right. Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling evidence, a tiny rub in the rib flute, and a faint depression on left grip. The case is very fine with some light spotting on lid. Mechanically excellent. A fantastic example of the straight line pistol that will be virtually impossible to upgrade.
