Description:

The included factory letter confirms the revolver's caliber, barrel length, and finish as well as stating it was part of a twelve gun shipment to Colt's London Agency on June 10, 1913. The top strap is inscribed "H.R.McCullach," otherwise standard markings and features. At the time of writing no one fitting the inscription could be found, however, a Hans McCulloch was found. McCulloch served as a private in the Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) during World War I.

Rating Definition:

Very good. Retains 30% original blue finish with a grey and brown patina on the balance, handling marks throughout, and some patches of light pitting. Grips are fine replacements with a repair in the bottom of the right grip panel and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
