Built on a post-World War II F.N. Mauser action by H&H Zehner, one of Germany's best gunsmiths of the era. Ramped hooded front sight, two position rear leaf sight, and Greener safety. The action shows near full coverage floral scroll engraving with matching wedges at the muzzle and breech. Floorplate is engraved and gold inlaid with an elk and bears the signature "H&H ZEHNER". The Trigger guard bears a gold inlaid monogram. Mounted in a nicely figured Circassian walnut stock which has been carved with floral designs, a contrasting insert on the comb, and checkered. Includes a B. Nickel Marburg 4-10x scope in claw mount with leather covers.

Excellent as professionally built by H&H Zehner, retaining 99% blue finish with minor handling evidence. The wood has a few minor marks and sharp checkering. The scope optics are clear with some spotting and the leather cover strap is torn at one end. Mechanically excellent.
