Lot 1499: Pre-World War II Colt Vest Pocket Model 1908 Pistol

Manufactured in 1938 with standard two-line address/patent dates and Rampant Colt on the left of the slide, caliber marking on the right, serial number on the left of the frame, "P/VP" and "74" marked trigger guard, and standard features. Excellent, retains 98% plus of the original high polish blue and vivid casehardened finishes with only the slightest handling marks. The grips are also excellent with minimal handling marks, some light verdigris on the screw grommets, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with some light wear and about 3/4 of the label remaining.
