Included with this pistol is documentation, in the form of a Department of Public Safety inventory card and a letter from the desk of the Ranger himself, verifying this SIG P226 pistol was the duty weapon of Texas Ranger Sergeant David Hullum. Hullum joined the DPS in 1988, working with the Texas Highway Patrol and with the Criminal Intelligence Division before becoming a Ranger in 1998, serving in the Midland region as part of Company E. Departing the DPS in 2007, he spent a few years as Head of Security of FTS International, and currently performs double duty as the owner and manager of Hullum Investigations and the Chief of Police of Midland, Texas.
