Description:

This is representative example of an original IMI manufactured fully automatic Uzi submachine gun. This was one of the most famous submachine guns in the early 1960/70s and was heavily used and seen in all the Middle East conflicts between Israel and their neighbors. These were so successful and highly regarded that for a short time they were even used by the U.S. Secret Service. This example was imported by Interarms of Alexandria, Virginia. These used a stamped and welded heavy sheet metal receiver, top cover, and lower trigger housing. They still fully machined the all steel bolt, barrel and various internal components. The rear left of the receiver is correctly marked "S.M.G. UZI/066508/IMI" as well as with the Interarms address. Hebrew marked trigger group/selector, ribbed plastic forend and grip, and folding steel buttstock. The magazine and barrel nut are absent (barrel included but loose due to absent barrel nut). Includes a canvas sling.

Rating Definition:

Very good, retains 90% plus of the likely arsenal refinished matte grey with some scattered minor handling marks. The rear of the receiver shows evidence of grinding and welding. The forearm and grip are very fine with a few scattered minor dings. Apart from the non-secured barrel, it is mechanically fine. NOTE: This weapon is a restricted, National Firearms Act (NFA) Class 3, Fully Automatic Weapon, that is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478. This weapon is currently registered as being "LIMITED TO USE AS A SALES SAMPLE (Pre-86)" and as such can only be purchased by an FFL, with a Class 2 or Class 3 SOT License.
