Manufactured in Belgium shortly after the end of the German occupation, and properly devoid of the occupation-era German proofs. The standard three-line address and Browning patent markings are present on the left side of the slide, with Liege "lion/PV" and "star/D" proofs on the left side of the frame and slide, and Liege proofs on chamber. The front strap and base of the magazine are marked "LGK.B./0784". There is a faint import mark visible on the butt. Outfitted with blade front and notch rear sights, a ring hammer, and a pair of checkered walnut grips. Includes a factory Fabrique Nationale box with added label hand numbered to gun and an extra magazine also marked "LGK.B./0784" on the base. Provenance: The Dr. Robert Azar Collection

Excellent, retains 97% plus of the original blue finish with some scattered light handling marks, some very light edge wear, and some light brown speckling on the back strap. The grips are fine with some scattered minor dings and scratches, and mostly crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with some moderate wear and tears on some corners.
