This is the big game version of the standard Krieghoff Classic double rifle. Blued steel barrels with ramped beaded red fiber optic front sight and skeletonized red fiber optic rear sight on the matted quarter rib. Standard barrel markings including the caliber marking "500 N.E.3""with importer mark under the forearm. The satin coin finished action features double triggers and an interesting tang mounted safety mechanism/cocking piece and is marked "KRIEGHOFF/CLASSIC" on the underside. Nicely figured, checkered walnut semi-beavertail forearm with Deeley style latch and pistol grip stock with cheek piece, right hand palm swell, and Decelerator recoil pad. Excellent, retaining 97% plus original finishes, light handling evidence and scattered areas of light spotting on the barrels, trigger guard, some flaking on the forearm latch, and barrel release. The wood is very good with some dings and pressure dents and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
