Features "D. Egg 4 Pall Mall London" signed rib, "D. Egg" signed locks, London proofs, detailed scroll engraving, scenes of dogs and birds engraved on the locks, trigger guard, bow, and heel tang; checkered forend and wrist, and plain butt. Measurements: 1 3/8 inch drop at comb; 2 1/16 inch drop at heel; 13 7/8 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs 3 oz. Provenance: The Malcolm King Collection

Rating Definition:

Fine with 75% plus of an older refinished brown remaining on the barrels along with nice twist patterns, traces of original blue finish and case colors, mostly dark brown patina on the balance, some minor oxidation, and general mild wear. The stock has some mild dents and scrapes, mostly crisp checkering, and mild wear. Mechanically fine.
