Blue steel dovetail lump barrels with a single bead sight on the smooth rib, barrels marked "CHARLES LANCASTER, 11 PANTON ST. HAYMARKET, LONDON", chambers proved and measured at 2 1/2 inches with ejectors, improved cylinder/modified chokes, import mark and Birmingham proofs. The barrels are also marked "SLEEVED", the process has been carried out nearly seamlessly. Casehardened sidelock action bearing the marker's mark on both sides of the action and both locks. Near full coverage floral scroll engraving covering the receiver, locks, trigger guard, and tangs. Checkered forearm and beautifully figured straight grip stock marked "7708" ahead of the blank white metal initial oval. Barrel and stock measurements: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech proved at .728/.728 inches and measured at .729/.728 inches; choke constriction .007/.021 inches; minimum wall thickness .033/.033 inches; drop at comb 1 7/16 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 15 5/16 inches; cast-off; weight 6 lbs 11 oz.

Very fine, retaining 98% professionally refinished blue on the barrels and 25% original case colors concentrated in the protected areas. Some minor handling evidence present on the barrels. The wood is also very fine with a few small marks and recut checkering. Mechanically excellent.
