Manufactured in 1973. This rifle has a blue barrel manufactured without sights, a gold trigger, a polished bolt and the remaining surfaces French satin gray. The top of the receiver is factory drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The breech end of the barrel has a 2 inch floral scroll and punch dot engraved wedge on either side. The front receiver ring is engraved with a bugling elk on the right side and bull moose on the left with the remainder of the receiver featuring a scroll leaf and punch dot engraving. The left front of the receiver is signed "LL AMBERT" (not visible, covered by the wood line). The hinged floorplate is engraved with a bear in a mountain scene with floral scrollwork below and on the attaching metal and is signed "AM" below the bear. The trigger guard is engraved with a cougar and signed "LC". The stock is extra fancy select walnut with a high gloss finish, fine line checkering and floral and matte hand carving on the forearm and grip area. The stock has contrasting forend and grip cap, a raised comb, cheekpiece, a vented Browning recoil pad and sling swivel studs. Provenance: The Dr. Robert Azar Collection

Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue and satin grey finish with some light spotting on the bolt and safety housing, and sharp engraving. The stock is also excellent with some light handling marks, and crisp checkering and carving. Mechanically excellent.
