Manufactured on a "00" frame in 1934, the last year of Parker production before shifting to Remington. This gun is one of only 64 built by Parker in this configuration according to the table on page 279 of "The Parker Story" by Gunther, Mullins, Price, Parker, and Cote. Blued, Parker Special Steel barrels with white mid and steel front bead sights on the matted, solid rib marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. PARKER SPEC. STEEL", standard markings on the flats including the circled "PS" for the barrel steel, and 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. Casehardened action with standard G grade engraving featuring two mallards in flight on the left, two pheasants on the underside, and a pair of quail on the right, all surrounded by light scroll engraving. Double triggers and tang mounted automatic safety. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered forearm with engraved fittings and Deeley latch release and round knob pistol grip stock with blank inscription shield and Parker dog's head buttplate. This configuration is confirmed on page 590 of "Parker Gun Identification and Serialization" by Price and Fjestad. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bores measured 9 inches from the breech .553/.552 inches; choke constriction .013/.018 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 1/2 inch drop at heel; 14 7/16 inch length of pull; weight 5 lbs 13 oz.

Very fine with professionally refinished barrels retaining 99% blue with a slight ding to the outside of the left muzzle, flashes of case colors in the more protected areas, with mild handling type evidence and sharp engraving. The wood is very good as revarnished with scattered dings and scratches and worn but well-defined checkering. Mechanically excellent.
