Gauge: 30 Carbine
Barrel: 18 inch round
Finish: parkerized
Grip:
Stock: walnut
Item Views: 2998

Description:

These carbines were usually early production pieces that went through the various U.S. endurance and environmental tests such as salt spray, long term firing, rain, mud, etc. and consequently survival rates were extremely low in any condition. This carbine appears to have been a substitute piece that remains unissued or used. (Possibly it was presented to a military officer or company official). Parts throughout are correctly marked either "ROCK-OLA", "R", "S", "BR" and "KR" with an unmarked stock. It still retains the early features such as flip rear sight, type one barrel band, low wood forearm, "I" oiler slot and deep dish two rivet handguard. Magazine absent.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, retaining 97% parkerized finish on the barrel and receiver with some light handling marks, 60% original blue finish on the bolt. Stock is very fine with very light handling marks on the underside. Mechanically excellent.
