Description:

Manufactured in 1945. Blade front and adjustable rear sights, with a correctly undated "W"/"WP" marked Winchester barrel, "C" Type III barrel band with bayonet lug, "W" round bolt, "W" recoil plate, ""EW"" button safety, "W"/"M" magazine catch, "BW" 15-round magazine, "W" hammer, "W" sear, and "W" milled trigger guard assembly. The "W" (faintly stamped) stock is of low-wood configuration, oval oiler cut, 4-rivet "W" handguard, and checkered steel buttplate, with a green canvas sling and oiler.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, retaining 75% parkerized finish with some minor edge wear and light loss in the receiver track, light handling marks on the blue magazine, 70% finish on the bolt body. Wood is fine with only minor sling wear, faint handling marks and a crisp cartouche. Mechanically excellent.
