Description:

Manufactured by Auto-Ordnance Corp. of West Hurley, New York, this is a semi-automatic replica of the Model 1928A1 submachine gun that was issued to the United States military during World War II. The left side of the receiver is marked with the model designation and serial number, along with caliber marking. The right side is marked with the patent information and the Auto-Ordnance West Hurley address. The top of the receiver is marked with the Thompson trademark. It is fitted with the G.I. style muzzle device/fixed blade sight, folding ladder rear sight, horizontal foregrip with finger grooves, pistol grip, hardwood stock with smooth trapdoor buttplate. Includes a reproduction U.S. military crate that holds the gun as well as the included six stick magazines, one Type "L" 50-round drum magazine, manual, and canvas sling.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, retains 98% plus of the original blue finish with a few scattered light handling marks. The rear sight is damaged. The wood is also excellent with a few scattered minor dings and scratches. The case and accessories are excellent with minimal wear and a slight crack in the lid. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
