Manufactured by Midwest Metal Creations LLC., this is a desirable semi-automatic version of the Russian Model 1910/30 machine gun. Produced using a mixture of newly manufactured and original Russian Izhevsk Arsenal parts, this is an accurate representation of the machine gun that saw Russia through two world wars but with semi-automatic functioning only. The original design was based off of the iconic design by Hiram Maxim with some slight Russian twists. One of these twists is the addition of a large port on top of the water jacket not seen on other variations of the Maxim. This port was to allow quicker filling as well as allowing snow or ice to be inserted, an important feature during Russian winters. The port is covered with the cap from a tractor radiator, which is why this variation is sometimes referred to as a "tractor-cap". Russian arsenal markings can be seen on various parts throughout including the top cover with an arrow within a hexagon and dated "1944". The MMC LLC. address is on the right of the receiver. The gun is fitted on the standard wheeled carriage with metal shield which is painted green. Includes a large wooden crate, two Finnish Army marked ammunition cans, an extra muzzle device, and some lengths of cartridge links.

Very fine as assembled in semi-automatic configuration, retains 98% plus of the blue finish and 90% plus of the green finish with some mild edge wear and flaking on the green. Mechanically excellent. The carriage is fine retaining more than half of the green finish. The crate and ammo cans are also fine showing some mild wear.
