Description:

Manufactured by Halo Manufacturing of Eugene, Oregon, using a mixture of newly made and original British surplus parts. Based on the successful Maxim design, the Vickers machine gun was a mainstay of the British military through both world wars and found itself used in conflicts around the world up to the present day. Known for their rugged reliability, the 100th Company of the British Machine Gun Corps is said to have fired their 10 Vickers machine guns for 12 hours straight, expending over one million rounds during action in 1916. This example has the standard fixed blade front and adjustable rear peep sights graduated to "29", non-fluted water jacket, standard British proofs and military acceptance marks, wood grips, and checkered push button "trigger". Includes a green painted tripod with full traverse and elevation adjustment, two cartridge boxes, wooden transport crate, tools, water can, and various lengths of cloth cartridge belt.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as assembled in semi-automatic configuration, retains 98% plus of the matte black and green finishes with some scattered light handling marks and wear. The grips are very good with some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. The accessories are fine or better with generally mild wear.
