Hooded blade front and tangent rear sights, with a rough cast and machined receiver marked "K43" and "ac/45" on the left side. The bolt carrier is fitted with a reinforcing web, hollow cocking handle, and lacks provision for a bolt catch. Fitted with a smooth pistol grip laminated stock, marked with a faint Waffenamt "eagle" on the underside, with a leather sling and a cupped trapdoor buttplate. The magazine is marked "aye" and "G43". The "359" proofed sniper mount is numbered "4880", with ZF4 scope, "ddx" marked with a blue triangle, a leather and cork lens protector set and a rubber rear eyepiece.

Fine, with 75% of the original phosphate finish, showing areas of brown patina and surface rust, with mild wear and scattered handling marks. The stock is very good, with cracking at the wrist, scattered dents and mild scuffs. The scope body shows mild oxidization, with the optics in good order. Mechanically excellent.
