The accompanying factory letter lists this revolver as being chambered in .45 Long Colt with extra matching .45 ACP cylinder, 5 1/2 inch barrel, nickel finish with baked accents and fire blue small parts, pearl grips, and Class "C+" engraving done by Jan Gwinnell when shipped to Wilkerson Family LLC in Kansas City Missouri on November 7, 2011. The letter further remarks this revolver was used as a show gun by Colt at the 2011 Colt Collectors Show and is pictured in the 2012 Colt product catalog. Eagle and horse heads are engraved among the scrollwork, and a relief horse head is on recoil shield. Two relief snake heads on barrel. "Engr. Jan L. G." signed on the grip frame. Includes Colt glass top display case, Colt blue box, original shipping carton, print of engraving pattern, and Colt 2012 product catalog.

Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original nickel finish with limited handling marks and a couple hairline age cracks on the bottom of the left grip. Mechanically excellent. Case, box, and sleeve are all excellent with limited handling marks.
