The accompanying factory letter lists this rifle with round barrel in .33 caliber, plain trigger, Lyman receiver sight, half magazine, takedown configuration, shotgun buttplate and checkered plain grain pistol grip stock when received in the warehouse on January 18, 1906 and shipped the next day. Beaded blade Lyman front sight, filler block in the rear sight dovetail and Lyman receiver sight. Standard Winchester markings including a factory oval proof stamped on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Mounted on straight grain forearm and pistol grip stock featuring checkering, hard rubber Winchester grip cap and steel shotgun buttplate. "476" is stamped on the left side of the lower tang and stock inlet. The number "8327" is crossed out on the buttplate.

Fine, retaining 60% original blue finish with the balance thinning to a brown and high edge wear. Cold blue touch up is visible on the barrel. Some visible original case colors remain on the hammer and lever. The refinished wood is fine with scattered minor handling evidence and recut checkering. Mechanically excellent.
