Introduced in 1878. Pinned blade and square notch adjustable rear sight, barrel rib with the two-line legend, 1 7/16 inch "long" cylinder, unnumbered barrel latch, and matching serial numbers on the butt, right grip panel, cylinder and barrel.

Very fine, retaining 85% plus original nickel plating with smooth gray patina on the balance. Traces of the original case colors remain on the trigger guard, and nearly 80% original case colors remain on the hammer. The grips are also very fine with crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.
