These post-1816 pistols have two-stage barrels with bead front sights, girdled transition points, "-SIMMONS-" signed on top, and Birmingham proofs on the upper left. The locks are secured by single screws and are also signed "SIMMONS" and have light floral engraving. The brass furniture includes pineapple finials and floral engraving on the trigger guards. The stocks are stepped near the muzzle and nicely checkered on the wrists.

Very fine with light aged patina on the brass, dark patina and traces of case colors on the lock, a ding in the barrel, most of the gloss finish on the stock, crisp checkering and markings, and general light dings and minor scratches on the metal and wood. Mechanically excellent.
