The floorplate is beautifully engraved with matching scroll surrounding a raised relief inlaid cape buffalo in a African forest scene. Beautifully figured, fancy checkered stock with five separate contrasting geometric wood inlays, Monte Carlo butt, cheekpiece, gold plated sling eyes, and initial oval reading "LLOYD/L./WARD/JR." Includes a Weatherby Imperial 2 3/4x90 scope on Redfield Swing-Over mounts.

Excellent, retaining 99% original blue finish, minor handling evidence, and some light discoloration in areas. The wood is very fine with a few dings and scratches, some varnish crazing, and sharp checkering. The scope optics are clear with slight hazing. Mechanically excellent.
