The factory letter indicates this revolver was used as a "Colt Show Gun" at the following twelve shows over the course of five years: NRA Show and Colt Collectors Association Show in 2001; the Antique Arms Show, National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers Show, NRA Show, Colt Collectors Association Show in 2002; Shot Show, End of Trail Shoot, NRA Show, and Buffalo Bill Historical Center Shoot in 2003; Colt Collectors Association Show in 2004; and the AFL-CIO Union Industries Show in 2005. It also confirms the "Class 'B' standard level engraving including the front sight" by John Adams Jr., that it included both walnut and the current eagle grips, and was shipped to J & J Custom Firearms in Columbus, OH, on January 27, 2006. It comes with the original shipping sleeve and box.
Near new with light handling and storage marks including some subtle cylinder rotation marks. Mechanically excellent. The boxes are very good with minor storage wear.
