Description:

Manufactured in 1933. The left of the slide has the standard two-line address and patent date marking with the National Match, caliber, and Rampant Colt markings on the right. The right of the frame is marked "GOVERNMENT MODEL" over the serial number and the trigger guard has "W/VP" on the left and "60" on the right. Fitted with blade and notch sights, fully checkered walnut grips, and a two-tone magazine marked "COLT/45 AUTO." on the base. Provenance: The Dr. Robert Azar Collection

Rating Definition:

Very fine, retains 85% plus of the original blue finish with the balance a smooth grey patina, most prevalent on the leading edges of the slide and the grip straps. The grips are fine with moderate handling evidence and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
