The barrel is marked "SA/ordnance shell and flame/11-29" with the small star-gauge marking on the muzzle crown. Includes original Star Gauging Record dated January 22, 1930. The barrel is fitted with the standard blade front sight and the folding ladder rear sight. Both are fitted with a set of "P.J. O'Hare" stamped sheet metal sight covers. It has a matching numbered "NS" marked, bright polished bolt. It is fitted with a standard two-bolt walnut pistol grip type stock. It is stamped on the left side with a faint boxed "DAL" cartouche with a single circled "P" proofs on the underside above the pistol grip. The lower rear underside area of the buttstock is stamped the matching serial number in front the sling swivels. It has the standard all milled components, with a heavily checkered NM type steel buttplate. It comes with a nickel plated oiler with a pull-through jag and brush inside, stored in the butt trap. Provenance: The George Moller Collection

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 98% of the original finish with light handling marks on the edges and high spots from handling over the years. The reoiled buttstock and handguard are both in very fine condition showing only minor handling marks in a couple places with a clear light cartouche on the side. Mechanically excellent.
