Produced early 1944. Blade front and peep rear sights with locking bar and "BATTLE RANGE" marked left knob. The undated barrel is "WP" marked, with a "W.R.A." bolt, trigger housing, hammer, trigger guard, and correct uncut operating rod. The stock bears the circled serifed "P" inspection stamp on the wrist and "WRA/GHD" cartouche on the left side, with a green canvas sling, checkered buttplate, cleaning tools (multi-section rod with patch holder, handle/multitool, oiler) in the compartment, and an AFH bayonet with sheath.

Excellent, with 95% plus original parkerized finish, showing some small spots of rubbing on the barrel and gas cylinder, minor high point and cycling wear, and light handling marks overall. The stock is very fine, with scattered dents and scratches. The bayonet shows mild wear. Mechanically excellent. This Winchester M1 Garand is the one you have been waiting for!
