Manufactured in 1943 in the first serial number block. The original sights are properly absent, with a Remington "9-43" barrel, "R" marked bolt with properly turned and contoured handle, and the properly offset manufacturer, model and serial number markings on the receiver ring. A parkerized Redfield scope base is mounted with staked screws, and the included Weaver M73B1 scope is numbered "25612" on the right side. Desirable full pistol grip stock, with a circled block "P" on the wrist, "crossed cannons" and "FJA" on the left side, brown leather sling and a flat checkered steel buttplate. A pair of leather lens caps are included.

Excellent, with 95% of the original parkerized/blue finish, showing mild handling marks overall. 85% blue is also present on the bolt and barrel bands, with cycling wear on the former. The stock is very fine, with a number of light dings and scratches. The scope is in very fine condition, with mild wear on the exterior, clear optics and a solid crosshair reticle. Mechanically excellent.
