Description:

The included factory letter lists this revolver with 4 3/4 inch barrel chambered in .38/40, blue finish, and stocks not listed when shipped to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co. in Chicago Illinois on September 11, 1903. Features blade front and frame notch rear sights with Bisley Model barrel markings, two line-three date patent marking followed by circled rampant colt, and hard rubber grips with rampant colt in an oval motif. Rating Definition:

Very good, retaining 50% original blue finish and traces of case colors with a smooth gray and brown patina on the balance. Grips are very fine with slightly softened checkering and a clear motif. Mechanically excellent.
