Description:

Only 8,000 of these revolvers were manufactured in 1870-1872. Standard markings and features other than the rare 6 inch barrel, which is also found on the Nashville, TN police 1st Model Americans. Many of these were carried by western icons including Buffalo Bill Cody as a showman and allegedly Wyatt Earp at the shootout at the O.K. Corral. This revolver was owned by country music icon Hank Williams Jr. and includes a certificate of authenticity confirming his ownership. Provenance: The Hank Williams Jr.'s Collection

Rating Definition:

Very fine, retaining 99% factory quality reapplied nickel finish, minor handling evidence, and faint cylinder drag line. The wood is very good with some shrinkage, a few scratches, and some chipping along the bottom of the right grip.
