Description:

Flintlock blunderbuss for use on naval ships with a swivel bracket. The lock is marked at the center with an Elephant cipher. London crown proofs marked at the left of the breech. "BARNETT/GUNMAKERS/LONDON" marked at the right rear of the buttstock in an oval. Bore measures at approximately 1 inch and the muzzle flares out to 2 3/4 inches.

Rating Definition:

Very good with dark brown patina overall with scattered light pitting, and sharp lock markings. Stock is also very good with defined edges, scattered light scratches and dents, a minor chip behind the barrel tang, and minor chips at the toe. Mechanically excellent.
