Silver blade front and notch rear sights, with scroll engraving at the muzzle, a set of gold and silver bands at the muzzle and breech, and "HOLLIS CHELTENHAM" on the top flat. The breech plug is also engraved, with a golden proof stamp. The lockplate is German silver, fitted flush with the stock and both engraved with scroll designs, leafy burst accents on the forearm, fish head design on the hammer, an inscription oval on the rear of the grip, and a steel trapdoor installed in the flared butt.

Very good. The barrel is bright with scattered mild pitting and attractive inlays. Mostly bright, lightly toned stock, with crisp engraving and mild handling marks. Mechanically fine.
