Blued Krupp fluss stahl barrels with beaded blade front and flip up rear sights on the solid matted rib, standard Sauer proofs and German proofs, 2 1/2 inch chambers with single extractor, and chokes measured at .012/.037 inches (improved cylinder/full). The casehardened sidelock action features fine scroll engraving covering nearly all of the surface, "J. P. SAUER & SOHN, SUHL." on either lock, and external gold washed cocking indicators. Double triggers, bushed firing pins, manual cocking lever for the rifle barrel, and tang mounted flip up sight and safety switch. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered splinter forend with engraved fittings and Deeley latch release and pistol grip stock with engraved steel grip cap, cheekpiece, engraved cartridge trapdoor, and serrated hard rubber buttplate. Very fine overall, retaining 98% original blue and 40% faded case colors, some areas of minor spotting, a few light dings and scratches in the wood, and crisp wood checkering. Mechanically excellent.
