Description:

Manufactured in 1917 and shipped in 1918. Fixed sights, with "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" on the underside of the barrel, "eagle head/S15" on the left side of the frame, underside of grips hand-numbered to the gun, and U.S. army and model marking on the butt along with the number "131/671".

Rating Definition:

Excellent, retains 90% plus of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth grey patina, primarily on the edges and grip straps and cylinder. The grips are also very fine with a few scattered minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
