Description:

This is a scarce early FN Model 1935 HP pistol manufactured under German occupation in Belgium circa 1940. This is considered a "Subvariation I" with the noted serial number range between 50000-53000. The serial number of this pistol is stamped on the right side of the slide and frame, and left side of the chamber, with all three matching. It has the standard commercial FN proofs and markings and is stamped with single "WaA 613" Waffenamt proof on the chamber area of the barrel and lower left side of the frame. This example has a fixed front sight with the early tangent rear sight graduated from 50-500 meters with the slotted back strap. It has the standard checkered walnut grips and comes with two magazines that have "WaA 613" Waffenamt proofs on the rear of the body and a brown leather holster marked "bdt41" and "WaA136" on the lower flap.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 95% plus of the original blue finish overall with edge and high spot wear and thinning and brown speckling on the front grip strap. The grips are in very fine condition with nice visible checkering and handling marks mixed with some heavier pressure dents on the right grip. The holster is good with a number of hand markings on both the interior and exterior. Mechanically excellent. A desirable example of a scarce early German occupation FN model 1935 pistol, in extremely hard to find high condition.
