Manufactured in 1975 and subsequently elaborately embellished with approximately 75% coverage beautifully executed floral scroll engraving on a stippled background, which is cut through the original finish creating an attractive contrast. An included note states that the engraving is by Herb Estes and the scrimshaw work by Eache of Arkansas. The pistol has been fitted with laminated plastic grips scrimshawed with African lions and otherwise has standard markings and features. Includes a small spear point dagger (3 5/16 inch blade, 6 1/2 inches overall) with matching grip scales to the pistol, a matching scrimshawed plate containing seven .32 ACP cartridges, and a glass top display case. Very fine as professionally embellished, retains 98% plus of the original blue finish in non-engraved areas with the balance showing bright. The grips are excellent with minimal handling evidence. Mechanically excellent. The knife and cartridge plate are excellent with minimal handling evidence. The case is fair with the edges of the lid having separated and the glass loose, but otherwise minimal handling/storage evidence.
